Primary Duties
Analyzes loan data on new, renewal and existing residential and commercial loans, including data provided by credit bureaus, other financial institutions and financial institution files.
Prepares spread sheets, reports, summaries, opinions and loan presentations for financial institution officers on new, renewal and existing residential loans and commercial loans.
Performs credit inquiries for the financial institution as requested.
Establishes reviews and updates new and existing residential and commercial loan files for the financial institution on a regular basis.
Provides technical advice and assistance to loan officers as needed.
The Credit Analyst II is responsible for analyzing commercial loan requests, recommending appropriate risk ratings, and providing recommendations with regard to loan structure and pricing. This position works with complex and specialty relationships, many over $1,500,000 in exposure.
Identify credit strengths, weaknesses, and mitigating factors
Meet or exceed established service level expectations for turnaround times
Assist lenders by participating in business calls for complex credits with customers or prospects
Maintain a working knowledge of macroeconomic issues in local markets and regional industries
Compete annual file reviews over $300,000 in exposure
Attend and participate in loan committee
Be the backup for month-end reporting requirements.
Responsible for “Driving” DLC meeting via MX Meeting
Bachelor’s degree: Preferably in business, finance or related field.
Good financial analytical abilities.
Experience with Microsoft Excel and excellent computer skills.
