Product Manager

Role: Product Manager

Location: Remote

Salary: Up to £40,000

Lavandi Talent is currently working with a fantastic Beauty and Personal Care business who are looking for a Product Manager to join their team!

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse current consumer markets and emerging trends to inform product strategies.
• Oversee product reformulations and support New Product Developments (NPD).
• Collaborate with external vendors for translations and assist in product reviews to ensure regulatory compliance and alignment with brand guidelines.
• Investigate and address customer complaints and product issues.
• Ensure compliance with labelling and packaging regulations, including creating pack copy, reviewing labelling content, and artwork.
• Provide technical support to sales, customer service, and external partners by supplying detailed product information.
• Create and maintain Product Master documents to ensure accurate and up-to-date information across all platforms.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers and suppliers.
• Manage the process of obtaining product certifications (e.g., Halal, Vegan Society) to ensure market suitability and compliance.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience in NPD, Regulatory and or R&D within the cosmetics industry is essential.
• In-depth understanding of quality and safety standards in food and cosmetic manufacturing (e.g., GMP, ISO, BRC).
• Expertise in claims substantiation, copy and artwork review.
• Experience with New Product Development (NPD) and Existing Product Development (EPD).
• Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and email communication.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical information.
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring smooth operations.
