Capgemini is seeking a Data Architect to join Capgemini Financial Services I&D Practice. This is a permanent, full-time position in London, UK and this represents a unique opportunity for someone to enhance their I&D Consulting career.
The role primarily supports the Operating Model Design & Implementation for the Data & Analytics Value Stream Enabler, spanning the entire Data Strategy.
To drive our strategy, we are now seeking a high-calibre professional and self-motivated Data Architect to join our Data team.
DAO Data Architects are responsible for the Data Value Stream Enabler, setting out the current state and executing the roadmap to achieve the target data architecture. In additional, DAO Data Architects work with the other Value Streams, such as International Retail Banking, to co-design their data architecture plans and ensure alignment with the Group data strategy.
The successful applicant will enjoy working as part of a dynamic team on a high profile and exciting programme of work.
What you’ll do
Subject matter expert on the Data Value Stream Enabler which contains data architecture current state, future state and roadmap for the transition.
Work with other Value Streams across the bank on their data architecture plans.
Lead and own the development and implementation of architecture strategy and standards pertinent to the domain.
Introduce new practices, processes, operating model, techniques, products, services, technologies and standards where needed against identified use cases, via the appropriate governance bodies.
Act as the recognised technical expert associated with the relevant domain/systems.
Accountable design authority for technology decisions and leadership of the appropriate governance bodies
Stay abreast of technology trends and advise Technology and the business about potential benefits/impacts.
Provides motivational leadership, sets team performance expectations and monitors progress.
Overall responsibility for supervising a department or a business unit/area team, or manages delivery for most complex assignments.
