The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for a secure, reliable and agile information technology environment. Priorities will focus around information cyber security, Windows Server, network connectivity plus other related technologies.

The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for a secure, reliable and agile information technology environment. Priorities will focus around information cyber security, Windows Server, network connectivity plus other related technologies.
- Manage and monitor Information (Cyber) security
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize client systems, applications, and network environment
- Perform Windows server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services
- Provide level:1, 2 & 3 networking support (TCP, DNS/MX, simple subnets, VLAN, VPN, firewalls, Wireless)
- Provide Level - 1 & 2 application support (Exchange, O365, SMB apps)
- Provide Level - 1, 2, & 3 server / database administration
- Oversee deployment / repair & replace services on desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Check events and logs and escalate issues as required
- Monitor backup / storage (SAN, NAS)
- College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science and 5-10 years equivalent work experience
- Certifications in MSCE, MCP, VMware, Cisco would be an asset
- Knowledge of PowerShell
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
