Responsibilities

Hamilton Medical is looking for motivated individuals who have strong attention to detail and are looking for a company to grow with.

  • Responsible for pulling orders accurately, providing quality and timely work in a fast pace environment
  • Prepare products for shipment, including proper packaging and documentation, labels and carrier selection to ensure timeliness, accuracy and product integrity
  • Follow shipping and receiving procedures according to standards
  • Continually suggest and implement ways to increase efficiency and quality of services
  • Responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing shipping schedules for multiple site locations (domestic and international)
  • Perform status updates throughout the shipping schedule to ensure timely delivery to international and domestic sites
  • Coordinate material deliveries for shipping, production, weighing, sealing, and wrapping according to specifications
  • Packaging instruments, assemblies into boxes
  • Ensure the stock area is clean and orderly utilizing space efficiently
  • Keep in compliance with the safety program
  • Review daily reports to control correct part movements and maintain accurate shipping logs
  • Assist the lead person in the investigation of inventory discrepancies and correct accordingly
  • Provide excellent interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skill
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Experience using UPS, FedEx and DHL shipping systems
  • Working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems. Microsoft Dynamics is preferred
  • Advanced skills in Excel
  • Knowledge of stocking products with FIFO
  • Stock room, order pulling (both automated and manual methods) experience
  • Experience in cycle counting practices regarding inventory control
  • Possess good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines , production goals
  • Position requires exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and an amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects

Education/Experience

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED
  • Prior stock room, shipping, order pulling and receiving experience required.
  • Technical Certificate and/or LEAP is preferred
