Clarus is looking for a Founding Account Executive who’s interested in a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of Healthcare innovation. Must have SaaS Enterprise Sales experience in a Start-Up environment to be considered for this role.


The Strategic Account Executive at Clarus will play a pivotal role in driving our mission to revolutionize patient communication within large Healthcare Systems. Our product, a sophisticated Call Management Solution, is designed to enhance both daytime and after-hours patient interactions. As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will engage directly with Senior Healthcare Executives to understand their challenges and demonstrate how our technology can lead to significant improvements in patient experience and operational efficiency.


TOTAL COMPENSATION ---> $250K - $300K OTE (UNCAPPED!)

BREAKDOWN ---> 50% Base Salary ($125K - $150K) 50% Commission (Uncapped!)


*Plus, as a Founding Account Executive, you will be eligible for an additional “SUPER BONUS” based on tenure and performance!

  • An Unparalleled Ground Floor Opportunity: This role is a Founding Account Executive role, which means that you will be amongst the first Sales hires on our Enterprise Team helping us to pioneer the Enterprise segment, lay the groundwork for a scalable Sales Team, and eventually have the opportunity to build a Team!


  • Strategic Business Development: Identify and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders within large Healthcare Systems to build a robust sales pipeline valued at $5M-$10M annually.


  • Territory Planning & Account Strategy Development: Continuously analyze market trends within your territory to develop target Account selection, refine account strategies, and optimize prospecting approaches (***25% TO 30% WEEKLY TRAVEL REQUIRED***)


  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Take initiative in prospecting and lead generation as part of personal pipeline development without reliance on a dedicated top-of-funnel team.


  • Complex Sales Cycles Management: Navigate through extended sales cycles (6-12 months) by effectively managing project timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations.


  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with multiple stakeholders (7 ), including COOs and VPs of Patient Access and Patient Experience, to build consensus and drive the decision-making process.


  • Value Proposition Articulation: Develop and present compelling business cases that clearly demonstrate the value and ROI of our software solutions.


  • Contract Negotiation & Closure: Skillfully negotiate terms and close deals, ensuring alignment with both client expectations and company objectives.

HOW WILL YOUR SUCCESS BE MEASURED?


  • Achievement of annual New Business sales targets ($1M-$3M depending on ramp year)
  • Number of New Logos
  • New Pipeline generated by month
  • Length of Sales Cycle and Time-To-Close



WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR IN A SALES PROFESSIONAL LIKE YOU?


  • Minimum of 5 years successful Sales experience at a SaaS Startup (<50 employees)
  • Minimum of 3 years successful track record as a successful Enterprise Account Executive
  • Experience handling complex sales (6 month ASC) and multiple (4 ) stakeholders
  • Demonstrable success prospecting VPs / CXOs in organizations with 5,000 employees
  • Experience building and presenting a business case to VPs / CXOs
  • Experience selling into large Healthcare Systems is not required, but a plus
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen to navigate complex sales environments
  • Excellent communication/interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholder groups
  • Proficiency in CRM Software and Sales Management Tools
  • Robust negotiation and closing skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and initiate prospecting efforts
