Letter from Credential program currently enrolled (Required for all Pre-interns)
EL Authorization (must provide proof if it is not embedded in California Credential)
Two (2) current Letter of Recommendation (within the last 12 months)**
CBEST (optional) *Credential Copy (Must show Subject Description, Expiration Date and EL Authorization) **Letters should be from current or former Principal, Assistant Principal, Department Chair, or Program Director. If you have not taught in California (new to the profession), please include a letter from your university program supervisor, master teacher, or practicum supervisor.
Computers and scanners are available for applicant use in our office at 2271 W. Louise Ave., Manteca. PRE-EMPLOYEMNT REQUIREMENT (At Employee Cost if hired): - TB Clearance - Fingerprinting MUSD offers In-House Teacher Induction Program at no cost. MUSD accepts up to twenty-one (21) years of full-time school years. There may be an out-of-pocket expense depending on the Medical plan. *Unit members who do not hold a preliminary credential will not receive the $3,500 stipend until a preliminary credential is obtained. *To obtain a copy of your credential: Commission on Teacher Credentialing link listed below - At secured search enter birthdate and social security number. All documents and credentials will be listed.
