Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred

• Proven experience in digital paid media and paid media strategy/planning

• Experience in streaming services, or related industries, with a focus on strategy development and implementation are a plus

• Strong understanding of connected devices and streaming platforms, including their functionalities, user experiences, and audience behaviors

• Demonstrated ability to analyze data and metrics to drive strategic decision-making and optimize performance

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders

• Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and staying ahead of industry trends

• Highly organized with strong project management skills, able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Proficiency in Keynote and familiarity with data analytics tools; experience with streaming analytics platforms is a plus


Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marketing Strategic Planner to join the Client video marketing team. As the landscape of streaming video services evolves, particularly on connected devices, we need an individual who can partner with internal teams to develop and execute strategies that maximize our presence and engagement across various platforms. This role is crucial in ensuring our content reaches the right audience at the right time, driving growth and brand recognition.


Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with paid media and partner marketing teams to design and implement paid media strategies that meet acquisition and engagement goals on living room and connected devices (e.g. smart TVs, gaming consoles, streaming sticks, and other emerging platforms)

• Create media briefs that outline core campaign objectives, content prioritization, creative approach, messaging, and learning agendas

• Working with cross-functional teams to integrate the content pipeline and prioritization, target audience, various service offerings, and data-backed insights into media plans and strategies

• Work with media and analytics teams to synthesize data into actionable plans and illustrate the contribution of connected device investment towards customer paid plan growth

• Manage and consult on media budget allocations and be able to rationalize shifts in investment direction

• Work with the internal media team to manage relationships with streaming platforms, device manufacturers, and other relevant partners to negotiate terms, secure placements, and drive promotional opportunities

• Stay informed about technological advancements and innovations in the streaming media landscape, providing insights and recommendations for future strategies
