Position Summary
Your role as a Wastewater Technician 1 with our Wastewater team is to provide support to the cleaning and closed-circuit television team for various utilities throughout your designated area. You will take part in protecting our environment by keeping our sewer systems and communities clean. This role will report to the Field Operations Manager.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide field services for data collection and assess the condition of sanitary and storm sewer collection systems using a wide array of technologies.
Maintain clean equipment and toolboxes.
Perform basic math skills and use of computer applications.
Job Qualifications and Skills
Valid Driver's License with a good driving record
Ability to pass a thorough background check and pre-employment drug screen required as a condition of employment
Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Certification as required by project locations
Must be able to walk on various terrain, work in various type of weather conditions and work in confined spaces, bend, squat and lift/carry up to 75 pounds
Ability to travel 2 to 3 weeks at a time as needed, work weekends and work some nights. Travel could be upwards of 80% of time based on project locations.
Ability to possess or obtain Confined Space Training certifications
Must have reliable transportation
Ability to work outdoors whiles using ATV equipment. Some of our jobs require us to go off-roading
