Epicor Business Analyst

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Epicor Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both functional and technical aspects of Epicor ERP systems, with a particular emphasis on utilizing Power BI for data analysis and reporting. This role will involve working closely with various departments to optimize and enhance our Epicor system, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and document business processes, requirements, and workflows to improve the utilization of the Epicor ERP system.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement system enhancements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, providing actionable insights to support decision-making processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the Epicor ERP system, working closely with IT and external vendors as needed.
• Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring efficient and effective use of the Epicor system.
• Lead and participate in ERP-related projects, including upgrades, integrations, and new implementations.
• Perform system testing and quality assurance to ensure changes and enhancements meet business requirements.
• Maintain system documentation and provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress and system performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with Epicor ERP systems in a business analyst or similar role.
• Proficiency in Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems, business processes, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with SQL and other data management tools is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Certification in Epicor ERP or related technologies.
