Job Description
Role Summary
The Sales & Marketing Executive is responsible for driving sales and business development activities in the assigned territories. Company is a leading provider of Patient Intake and Communications solutions with various EHRs – including Epic, Cerner, Veradigm (formerly Allscripts), Athena Health, Greenway, etc.
This role covers a multi-state regional territory of ambulatory healthcare practices which are mid to large size including those in health systems.
The position is open only for candidates who are based in the US and have been involved in US healthcare IT industry selling software products/cloud-based services. Ideal candidates will have experience in either Patient Engagement or EHR sales.
He / She will drive the company’s initiative in customer acquisition and achieving revenue goals for the region.
Responsibilities
Direct sales of Cloud based software
Achieve a minimum yearly target. Target ambulatory opportunities ranging from independent group practices to large complex Integrated Delivery Systems having sophisticated buying processes requiring strong strategic selling competencies
Ensure contracts are signed on standard or reasonable terms.
Set reasonable expectations with customers to make sure customers do not feel they were oversold once they go live
Coordinate with the Marketing Team on Lead Generation and Sales Promotion activities.
Leverage support of a competent Pre-sales team
Develop strong partner relationships with the EHR vendors’ sales and customer success team members.
Help Implementation team with sales transition and when needed for resolving any issues between the customer and implementation team.
Manage sales funnel effectively to meet quarterly and annual quotas.
Network with top management of prospects and customers and build relationships.
Keep a tab on competition’s activities and strategies
Critical Success Factors for the role
Strategic Selling skills including track record of selling based on value.
Knowledge of US healthcare and keeping a close tab on what’s happening in the industry. Good knowledge of EHR will be preferred.

Span Of Experience
Bachelor's Degree, prefer concentration in marketing, sales, business, health administration or science.
An aggressive sales hunter with good experience in the US healthcare IT market with experience of 5 years
