Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop innovative power electronics technologies to improve technical performance and achieve new cost benchmarks.
Drive advancements in power electronics, focusing on assembly and construction techniques.
Design, prototype, and test ideas using simulations and physical prototypes in an agile environment.
Adopt new technologies and methodologies early to deliver timely solutions.
Engage in hands-on design prototyping and debugging.
Conduct product verification testing and ensure compliance with international standards.
Design with considerations for EMC/ESD.
Perform digital modeling and simulation of power electronics.
Network with universities and UK technical institutes to leverage cutting-edge knowledge and expertise.
Competencies and Skills:
Proven experience in working with power electronics hardware, particularly converters.
Demonstrated track record of innovation, diverse thinking, and creative problem-solving.
Strong curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
Excellent collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with multi-site international teams.
Proactive with the ability to organize work and take ownership of tasks.
Ability to challenge the status quo and effectively communicate and sell ideas.
Resilience and a willingness to learn from failures and try again.
Knowledge of German is a plus but not essential.
