The Bartlett School of Planning at UCL is a research-led planning school at the forefront of tackling major urban priorities and challenges. As an interdisciplinary centre of excellence, it plays a leading role in shaping debates in the fields of urban planning, urban studies, geography, urban design, and real estate. It also offers a range of innovative taught programmes on planning and the built environment.

About The Role

The Administrative Assistant is a member of the Teaching and Learning Team which sits within the School’s professional services team, and plays a key role in facilitating the smooth running of the School in general.

The post is the first point of contact for departmental staff, students and visitors, provides support for the Undergraduate Administrator and the wider taught student experience, and basic maintenance and facilities support as required.

This role will be predominantly office-based.

About You

The role requires interaction with many people within and external to UCL, and thus a professional and collegial attitude are required. This is a post with wide-ranging responsibilities, for which we are able to provide training and support for the right candidate to enable them to undertake the role.
