Brief Description


We are looking for an experienced Human Resources executive to lead our Human Resources team in Turkey. The individual will be based in Istanbul and will report to the Managing Director Turkey.

The role ensures, in line with Barilla group strategy and human resources model, constant and effective support to Turkey in dealing with HR processes and practices (e.g. organizational development, recruiting, training, performance management, people development, compensation, industrial relations, facility management), implementing policies and procedures developed by Group HR, in order to meet human resources requirements in terms of both quality and quantity, ensure engaging and motivating job environment in terms of commitment & motivation and organizational model implementation. Acts as a strategic business partner for Managing Director and Supply Chain Director in all HR, employee related topics. Sponsors and actively support the culture, talent and D&I agenda to create an engaging environment where talents can flourish.



Key Accountabilities


  • Implements, in compliance with the global policies and Group HR Strategy defined by other corporate HR units and the operative guidelines developed by the Chief HR Officer, all the programs and initiatives regarding recruiting and training, performance management and appraisal, talent management, industrial relations, payroll, staff allocation and facility management for the employees
  • Proposes and manages the annual budget on labor costs for Turkey by collecting and assessing requirements in terms of personnel selection, implementation of internship and training courses
  • Actively supports/challenges the local Business leaders setting the performance targets to the organization and safeguards the control of the process. Ensures the creation and proper implementation of training plans created after individual development plans gathering, respecting budget set. Track and analyse the brand performance and communication activities
  • Facilitates/challenges local business leaders in the annual discussions of talent management process
  • Controls the whole recruitment process (3rd party providers, timings, scheduling) according to the Group’s guidelines. Create Employer Branding Strategy and Programs to ensure awareness about Barilla as an Employer.
  • Defines people planning with the cooperation of the line managers, adapts annual compensation policy and manages the compensation process and salary interventions through the guidelines received by Comp Benefits & Int assignment.
  • Ensures the development of a balanced system of industrial relations, defining trade unions policies, overseeing the execution of additional contractual agreements, ensuring coordination of all relations with unions, handling legal issues, providing specialized support to all organizational units, in order to minimize internal conflicts and ensure satisfactory staff productivity conditions, according to the strategic guidelines provided by the Group.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and practices, related to payroll, facility management, company car and other local matters



Qualifications


  • Bachelor and/or Master Degree in Business, Finance, Communications or relevant field
  • 10 years of HR management experience in a global multinational corporation environment with passion in people management.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing environments, experience ideally with Unions
  • Demonstrated ability & courage to lead & inspire change.
  • Ability to motivate and influence in complex, matrix, goal-focused organizations.
  • Ability to think long term vision and plan for success.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, planning and organizional skills
  • Out-of-the box mindset
  • Fluency in Turkish and English
