We are currently on the lookout for a highly skilled Art Generalist who can adapt and excel across various aspects of game art production.

Role Overview

The Art Generalist will be a versatile member of our art team, capable of contributing to multiple facets of game art, from concept through to final in-game assets. This role demands a wide range of skills and the ability to pivot between tasks such as modeling, texturing, and lighting, making significant contributions to the visual fidelity and artistic coherence of our projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality art assets including characters, environments, textures, and UI components.
• Collaborate closely with the Art Director and other team members to maintain a consistent style across all visuals.
• Contribute to concept discussions and pre-visualization efforts to help solidify the game’s visual style and themes.
• Utilize a variety of tools and techniques to model, texture, and light scenes efficiently.
• Assist in optimizing visual elements for performance without compromising artistic integrity.
• Continuously improve and update skills and knowledge to stay at the forefront of game art technologies and practices.
  
  

Ideal Candidate

• 7 years of broad experience in various areas of game art production, including both 2D and 3D design.
• Mastery of industry-standard software such as Adobe Photoshop, Autodesk Maya, and Unreal Engine’s art tools.
• A strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of abilities and a deep understanding of artistic fundamentals.
• Ability to work flexibly and efficiently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven track record of positive contributions to a team.
• Passionate about gaming and keenly aware of current industry trends and techniques.
