Customer Service Representative

Location: Geleen, Limburg

Contract: Full-time (40h); via Jp Gray for one year - extension possible

Start: Preferably as soon as possible

Languages: English (fluent)

Salary: 3.300 - 3.500 gross/month

The company you will work for is a leading global engineering material solutions provider. You will be challenged every day with the maintenance of the order management process, communicating with different stakeholders to deliver excellent customer service. What you will be doing as customer service representative;

The CSR is responsible for day-to-day order management, including activities like processing intake of customer orders, master data maintenance, timely handling of order blocks, managing back-orders and monitoring material allocation. In this position, you are the first point of contact for our customers and close cooperation is required with several internal stakeholders like Account Management and Demand Planning to ensure high level service and complete and timely delivery to our customers.

  • Processing incoming orders and handling of order changes
  • Managing back-orders
  • Monitoring of order blocks and ensuring timely release
  • Customer master data maintenance
  • First point of contact for both customers and several internal stakeholders like Account Management in case of order requests or related questions

What the customer service representative profile looks like:

You are a service oriented person that shows strong character and has a strong analytical capacity. You have proven that you can take ownership of tasks and solve issues using your judgement and discretion. With some professional experience, you've shown you can work to guidelines and that you're a pro-active, positive, helpful team member. You're a good listener and questioner with attention to detail and the ability to remain courteous to customers.

Your profile:

  • HBO level - preferably in Supply Chain, Business Management or similar
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, any additional European languages is a plus
  • Experience in a B2B Customer Service, Sales Support or Logistics role
  • Experience with SAP and Excel
