The Group Controlling department acts as a Business Partner supporting management in decision making processes with relevant analysis and guidance. You will be responsible for drawing up the budget for different Business Units, verifying that costs and revenues are in line with forecasts, and proposing corrective solutions or improvement actions to management. In this role you will work as a Business Partner of the management, building a daily dialogue.
The person, in this position, will assume the role of coordinating Business Unit Controlling.
Task & Responsibilities
Preparing budgets and forecasts in collaboration with the Managers the relevant Business Units (BUs)
Reporting and coordination of monthly deliverables, reports and financial analyses
Monitoring BUs performance by analyzing deviations from plan and monitoring the achievement of business objectives
Verifying compliance of costs and revenues against budget forecasts
Developing business plans for new markets and projects
Preparing and participating in Budget Meetings
Profile
Min. 4 years’ experience in similar role
Degree in Economics, Business Admin, or equivalent
Excellent knowledge of cost accounting and in financial statement analysis
Analytical mindset and Confidentiality, reliability, accuracy in data processing
Interpersonal and communication skills, proactive approach, aptitude for teamwork
Proficiency in Excel, experience with Power BI or similar data analysis and reporting tools is considered a plus
Excellent English & German or Italian
Willingness to travel abroad (4 weeks a year)
