Job Description
The Small Engine Technician is accountable for repairing and maintaining small engines, including ignition systems, fuel systems, and other related components. Responsibilities encompass diagnosing engine issues, conducting repairs, assembling new units, delivering customer service, and cleaning equipment as required.
Qualifications
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Small Engine Technician or in a similar role.
Proficiency in working with diesel and gasoline engines, as well as hydraulic and electrical systems.
Strong mechanical skills for diagnosing and repairing small engines.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
Competency in using computers to access diagnostic software and manage work orders.
Capability to provide exceptional customer service and collaborate effectively with team members.
High school diploma or equivalent; Small Engine Technician certification or training is preferred.
