Job description :

• IT Database Administrator Sr Contractor
• Looking for candidates in Phoenix, AZ 2850 E Camelback Road Phoenix AZ hybrid 3 days in office
• Start time between 6-9:30am EST M-F 40 hours
• Targeting a 6/10 start date
• Intended length of assignment is 6/28/2024 possibility of extension/contract to hire
• This position is contract with the right to hire if a need becomes available. Manager will only look at candidates that are open to converting to a full time Client employee. Client will not sponsor work visas if the decision is made to hire the contingent worker.
• OT: No OT possibility of working weekends and evening week days but flexed schedule
• No travel necessary for this role
• Reason for opening is Oracle Database Team who have lost some team members recently. replacements of FTEs/additional need
• Which project will this need be supporting? n/a

• Function the group supports from an LOB perspective: Support all oracle databases throughout the bank from an engineering perspective

Candidate Technical and skills profile:

Key responsibilities:

• Project oriented, change based upon projects being worked participate in daily stand up, attend projects calls and all hands calls

Must have technical skills/experience (ask for alternative/tool/version):

• 5 years of Oracle database support
• Experience with Multitenant Architecture and RAC
• Solid understanding of Golden Gate, Data Guard, EUS, FSFO, TDE
• Experience configuring and supporting active/active configurations
• Experience migrating large databases
• Experience patching Oracle databases and Grid Infrastructure
• Knowledge of Oracle Recovery Appliances (backup and recovery)
• Strong scripting skills

• For one of the positions Experienced Oracle Enterprise Manager administration . This includes OMS and agent patching, target discovery/management, OEM performance troubleshooting and user management.

Flex Skills:

• Exadata experience
