ABiLITY is a nonprofit organization providing direct services and support for individuals with disabilities from birth through adulthood. We are dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities by providing direct services and support. We assist people with various disabilites such as intellectual disabilities, cerebral palsy, and autism to learn essential skills for self-care, independence, employment, and community integration.
Responsibilities Of Residential Service Manager
Oversight and supervision of independent living facilities (ISLs) for individuals with developmental, physical, and cognitive disabilities.
Train, supervise, manage, and schedule direct support staff.
Ensure 24-hour care of residents.
Provide direct assistance to clients as needed, including transportation, attending physician appointments, and assistance with daily living activities.
Share On-Call rotations to provide after-hours support.
Requirements
Must be 18 years of age at the time of application.
Must have a high school diploma/GED/equivalent or be enrolled in a general equivalency program at time of application
Valid driver's license
Valid and current state minimum auto insurance
Reliable transportation
Minimum of 1 year previous management experience
Minimum 1 year of experience working with individuals with disabilities in a direct service support role
Certifications Required Or Ability To Obtain Upon Hire
Level One Medication Aide (L1MA)
First Aid/CPR/AED
Crisis Prevention
Completion of online Relias DSP Training Program during normal working hours.
Availability
Flexible schedule required due to 24/7/365 support needs.
Work-from-home options available at the discretion of the Director of Residential Services.
ABiLITY Office Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm
14 Paid Holidays (Administrative office closed).
May be required to drive between multiple locations in Franklin County, MO at times (mileage reimbursed).
Pay Breakdown
Hourly base pay: $23.00
Full-time position (40 hours per week)
