Production Artist

Robert Half Marketing and Creative is currently hiring for a Production Artist in Atlanta. This is a direct hire role.

The Production Artist will play a key role in the execution and production of high-quality design projects. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of design principles, and the ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various design software and possess excellent organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare final press-ready files based on supplied specifications for several types of printing.
• Make various formats of supplied artwork production-ready and resolve any artwork issues that arise during production.
• Ensure consistency of brand and creative guidelines across a wide variety of media including print, digital, packaging, and more.
• Review and proof files before they are sent out for printing or digital publishing.
• Collaborate closely with graphic designers, marketing team, and other departments to ensure that all designs align with the brand image.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality of each project.
• Adapt existing artwork to different formats and sizes as required for various applications.
• Stay current with the latest design trends, software, and techniques to maintain a fresh and innovative approach to production design.
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the production process and find effective solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a Production Artist or similar role in a creative environment.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other design software.
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects efficiently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with pre-press and print production processes.
