Managed Services Senior / Project Engineer


We are a proactive Cloud and IT services company servicing the local businesses for 2 decades. We have been growing consistently by 10-20% for the last 7 years are looking to grow the team by 3. For this opportunity, we are looking for a Managed Services Project Engineer. The Managed Services Project Engineer would be managing projects, doing hands-on project work and some escalation support.


The makeup of projects vs escalations for the Managed Services Project Engineer will be a sliding scale but during the busy season, projects could be 70% of your work. To be successful, you need to be a detailed individual with strong O365 and Windows Server experience. Cisco and Meraki experience would be great too. This will be a mix of work from ho me and out at clients’ sites so someone that is personable and able to talk to C Level Executives is desired.

The Managed Services Project Engineer will be responsible for handling technology, including virtualization and cloud deployments, migrations, implementations, etc.


Day to day for the Managed Services Project Engineer:

• Handling a mixed bag of projects/deployments and escalated backend support.

• Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools

• Work with and advise team members and customers on best practices, advanced troubleshooting, and future systems designs

• Handle O65 migrations from on prem, GoDaddy, Rackspace, etc

• Designing, implementing, and upgrading Active Directory 2016/2019 /2022 environments

• Proficient at configuring Fortinet, SonicWALL, Meraki and Ubiquiti devices

• Designing, implementing and troubleshooting virtualization environments

• Designing, implementing and or migrating hybrid environments in Azure.
