Global Trade Business Analyst

Position Summary:

The Global Trade Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the company's Global Trade Management (GTM) system as well as related activities. This position includes collaborating with various internal organizations, including IT teams for our trade systems on global trade activities. They must have an understanding of international trade regulations and excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of key trade systems features and enhancements
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the efficient delivery of time sensitive projects
• Prepare reports and advise management on the potential impact on the company's operations and systems
• Document and report findings, as well as step by step system ‘how to’ instructions for the team
• Engage in system monitoring and testing to ensure compliance to all applicable laws and regulations in various jurisdictions globally
• Maintain relationships with internal and external partners to ensure smooth and efficient global trade operations
• Conduct reviews and assess risk related to the company's Global Trade Management system controls to identify potential areas of non-compliance and implement corrective actions as necessary
• Lead special projects related to the company's Global Trade Management system, such as the implementation of new systematic controls for new trade agreements or the development of new import/export programs
• Manage overall Global Trade Management system enhancements to ensure effective tracking of all active and pending requests

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in international business, supply chain management, or a related field
• Proven experience in a similar role in the trade industry
• Proficient in data analysis tools and software solutions, including Oracle EBS, OTM/GTM or similar systems
• Preferred knowledge of global trade regulations, including customs laws, trade agreements, and sanctions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other trade-related software applications
• Flexibility to travel to support business activities
