The Regional Director of Sales for FACTS is responsible for increasing revenue and retaining clients in multiple sales territories, served by a geographically diverse team of sales professionals. This includes the direct selling of FACTS products and services, as well as managing a sales force of professionals selling in defined regions and territories.

Salary Range: $160,000 - $180,000 plus incentive plan

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead a team of sales professionals (Regional Vice Presidents, Regional Inside Sales Representatives and Client Relationship Managers) to achieve high levels of sales performance.
  • Hire, train, supervise, and conduct performance evaluations for sales professionals reporting to this position.
  • Represent FACTS and facilitate large sales, including at the diocese level.
  • Work with industry partnerships to coordinate revenue from those sources.
  • Represent FACTS in conjunction with team members as needed.
  • Represent FACTS at industry association conventions, meetings and gatherings.
  • Present at diocesan or regional meetings of Principals and School Contacts.
  • Create, maintain, and further high-level relationships within all school related organizations.
  • Manage strategic-level relationships for FACTS in a defined geography, including association, diocesan and organizational contacts that are required for FACTS to advance the business.
  • Produce net revenue growth in team production (rate defined annually).
  • Develop a marketing plan and coach team members to produce a marketing plan that will create overall revenue growth in their defined geography.
  • Manage up to 25 projects concurrently while moving all forward to completion.
  • Manage an expense account with defined parameters.
  • Coordinate and conduct seminars for prospective schools.
  • Coordinate and conduct team meetings as required to achieve team goals in the course of a sales year.
  • Manage a budget, including team member business and travel expenses.
  • Ensure that team members maintain FACTS’ marketing database for their given geography, and updating the database frequently.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of five years of experience in direct sales and/or sales management or with parochial or private school administration and management.

COMPETENCIES – SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:

  • Strong leadership skills along with excellent communication and public speaking skills.
  • Great listening skills utilized to define needs, offer solutions, and formulate responses to objections.
  • Advanced computer skills in the use of data management, sales management, and sales presentations.
  • Proficient in Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Salesforce CRM or equivalent.
  • Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to community and/or service organizations and volunteerism.
  • Strong work ethic, values, and integrity.
