Director of HSE

Infinity Natural Resources is seeking a highly motivated Director of HSE to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for leading, developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive HSE program that ensures the highest standards of safety, health, and environmental protection across our operations. This is a full-time position based out of our office located in Morgantown, WV with travel to field locations in eastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive HSE program aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements (e.g., API, OSHA, PHMSA)
  • Lead a team of HSE professionals to ensure the safe and healthy operation of our facilities and assets.
  • Provide strategic direction and guidance to management on HSE matters
  • Foster a strong safety culture through effective communication, leadership, and employee engagement.
  • Conduct regular HSE audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, implement corrective actions, and develop preventative measures
  • Oversee the development and delivery of HSE training programs for employees and contractors
  • Lead the development and implementation of environmental sustainability initiatives.
  • Represent the company at industry meetings.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in HSE

Your Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in safety management, environmental science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in an HSE role within the oil and gas industry.
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent designation.
  • Proven track record of developing, implementing, and managing successful HSE programs
  • Strong understanding of HSE regulations and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in safety management software and Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees, contractors, vendors, and key stakeholders
  • Ability to travel as required to various project sites and meetings. Travel expectation around 50%
  • Must be able to work in varying environmental conditions and terrains.
  • May require extended hours during critical project phases
  • Must be able to perform light work – exerting up to 15 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
  • See, hear, talk and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity; kneel, sit, stand, walk, crouch, stoop, reach, pull, push and other similar, repetitive tasks requiring physical activity.
  • Able to operate standard office/computer equipment.
