Under the general direction of the California High-Speed Rail Authority’s (Authority) Director of Planning and Sustainability, the Career Executive Assignment (CEA B) is responsible for all aspects of architectural review and supervision related to the implementation of the Authority’s high-speed rail (HSR) stations. The CEA B will supervise architectural design consultants in the creation of plans and designs for stations and other HSR facilities. The CEA B will also serve as a design specialist to create plans for projects and serve as a project manager for HSR facility delivery contracts. Additionally, the CEA B is responsible for development of standard specifications, updates to design criteria manuals, creation of relevant policy, and procedure implementation on station related matters. This position will organize and plan outreach to city jurisdictions and stakeholders to meet deadlines and requirements for architectural review and station site delivery, shared facilities, and joint ventures. All work will be completed in accordance with applicable state and federal laws, regulations, and policies.


Possession of a valid certificate of registration as an Architect issued by the California State Board of Architectural Examiners is required.
