This position assists in coordinating independent contractors, construction materials and monitor quality of product and project completion under the supervision of the construction management team. It also requires maintaining the cleanliness of the construction site and completing minor punch-out.
Responsibilities
Construction Process
Ensure proper delivery and placement of all materials on the job site.
Assist in scheduling and communicating with independent contractors in a timely and efficient manner.
Acquire and apply the appropriate knowledge of Perry Homes construction procedures regarding the process from sheetrock tape and float to home completion, while under management supervision.
Create and implement recommendations concerning best solution for any issues that may arise with contractors, customers or suppliers.
Responsible for completing punchout for minor warranty, paint, sheetrock, carpentry and other similar tasks as assigned.
Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the job site.
From time to time must complete projects with short notice in extreme time constraints.
Customer Service
Plan and coordinate warranty service as stated by company policy.
Ensure to build and maintain relationships with homeowners, trades, and sales staff.
Inspect all warranty to ensure that the work meets company standards.
Quality Control
Inspect all materials upon delivery for proper placement and accurate size, quantity, and level of quality.
Ensure standards of quality as set forth by Perry Homes.
Under the supervision of the Project Manager, inspect all materials and workmanship during installation and upon completion to ensure quality standards.
Assist in maintaining assigned inventory homes and tasks in a high state of quality.
Safety
Monitor compliance with the subdivision safety program and report violations to the Project
Ensure independent contractors are maintaining appropriate safety standards.
Assist Construction Management Team in maintaining subdivision safety records.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree preferred; High School diploma or equivalent required.
Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Ability to complete tasks on short notice under extreme time constraints. Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks.
Current, valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
