Commercial Truss Designer

National Company in search of an experienced Truss Designer to join the team.

The designer will be asked to estimate and design wood truss projects utilizing MiTek software. Typically, these are commercial and multi-family projects, though some residential and agricultural jobs may be included. Emphasis will be on accuracy and optimization of designs. Our goal is to provide quality products in a timely manner. Designers also act as interior sales/project coordinators. Typically, the designer will handle all facets of the order from initial placement to final delivery.

Qualifications

• 2 year design degree or relevant on job experience
• Experience using MiTek or similar design software
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products
• 4 years of experience designing Trusses and/or prefabricated building products
• Ability to multi-task
• Team Player
