Assistant Womens Basketball Coach will work with the head basketball in all facets of the program. This includes the day-to-day operations of practice and game preparation. Recruitment of prospective student-athletes is a major focus of this position.
Duties And Responsibilities
Support the mission of Greensboro College and its athletics program
Recruit qualified student-athletes
Empower the student-athletes to become better students, players and people
Aid in retention through academic, financial and athletic monitoring
Implement and teach proper techniques and weight room safety
Implement and develop all game plans
Weekly academic monitoring
Team travel itineraries
Game day set up
Equipment & software
All other duties as assigned by the Head Basketball Coach
Skills And Qualifications
Bachelors degree required
Excellent communication skills
High energy with ability to work in group settings to achieve highest level of performance
