Accounting Systems Analyst

We are looking for an accounting systems analyst to maintain a highly integrated and automated accounting and finance system while also helping out in month-end close and finance projects. If you like to wear many hats and not do the same thing month-to-month, this is the job for you!

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain computerized accounting systems
• Analyze financial accounting systems and provide recommendations for improvement
• Develop systems specifications and processes to ensure accurate financial records
• Develop and document accounting systems policies and procedures
• Create and maintain computer models for financial projections
• Perform financial and operational audits to ensure accuracy of accounting records
• Limited monthly general ledger entry preparation and reconciliations
• Annual budgeting coordination

Skills, Education, and Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years of previous accounting system experience
• Bachelors degree, preferably Accounting or Finance
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in insurance or related industry preferred but not required
• Experience with the following systems preferred but not required:

Sage Intacct, Blackline, SAP Concur
