A Lead Software Engineer / Software Team Lead to join an established company developing Data Analytics / SaaS products used by customers across the UK. They promote training and progression from within and offer a flexible remote working structure.

The Lead Software Engineer will report to the Head of Engineering and lead an Agile development team in the development of the company's SaaS products and new features. The role will remain hands-on but holds team and tech leadership responsibilities for the product team.

Essential requirements:

• Prior experience of leading projects and teams (Developers, QA, Product staff, etc)
• Experience of tech delivery and translating user/client requirements
• A background in C# and SQL software development (5 years experience)
• Commercial experience with .NetCore or MVC and Azure
• The ability to implement Agile and DevOps processes
• Passion for writing good code, following coding best practice, SOLID principles or similar
• An excellent communicator, able to communicate with senior leadership

Desirables:

• Experience of M&A or large-scale digital transformation
• Pair programming
• Test automation
