Project Coordinator (Programme)

We are looking for a Project Coordinator to join our IT team here at Harrods. You will report directly to the Programme Director and will support the wider Programme Team in delivering systems for the business.


About The Role


As the Project Coordinator role you will coordinator with the internal and external teams, maintaining communication, and adhering to organisational procedures to ensure objectives are met and benefits are realised.


You will also;

  • Support the Programme Leadership Team and wider project team with diary requests and ad-hoc programme requirements.
  • Assist with timesheets sign off if required and ensure PO’s are cleared and up to date, and managing and creating new vendor accounts
  • Provide project team members with the necessary access to tools and date to complete project activities and monitor progress
  • Develop and produce job descriptions and Project Particulars documents, schedule interviews, and provide support with contract creation and sign-off.
  • Support and manage any Business Change and Readiness activities as required, collaborating with the Knowledge Management Executive
  • Arrange travel for the Senior Programme team members and prepare travel expense reports if required.


About You


The ideal candidate will have strong customer service focus when dealing with both internal and external parties as well as a good understanding of end-to-end project lifecycle delivery including post implementation. It is important that you have excellent time-management skills and the ability and willingness to multi-task.


You will also have the following;

  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Very good diplomacy, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Competent at using Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Visio
  • Flexibility and readiness to adapt to changing priorities
