Our client is a well-established and recognized Financial Services organization. They are actively seeking a dedicated Infrastructure Lead to join their dynamic team and lead the integration of a recent M&A on a 12-month contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to grow into a senior position as responsibilities and team size expand.

As the Infrastructure Lead for M&A Integration, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing the integration of IT infrastructure following a recent merger and acquisition. Your role will involve providing comprehensive support and leadership for the integration of servers, desktops, and core equipment. You will manage end users, customers, and internal support within an MS Windows Server environment, utilizing diagnostic tools, performing comparative analyses, communicating effectively with customers, compiling information, repairing hardware and software, and deploying new systems.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the integration of IT infrastructure post-M&A, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to business operations.

Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand and address their needs during the integration process.

Provide comprehensive support for existing IT infrastructure, including servers, desktops, and core equipment.

Manage end users, customers, and internal support within an MS Windows Server environment.

Utilize diagnostic tools, perform comparative analyses, and communicate effectively with customers.

Compile information, repair hardware and software, and deploy new systems.

Assume ownership of small IT infrastructure projects related to the integration.

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with a strong background in financial services and regulated environments. Experience in enterprise finance and/or banking is preferred. You should have a proven track record in building and maintaining IT systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. Experience with remote management and collaboration with team members in different regions and time zones is essential. Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL, and CISSP are highly desirable. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.

Technical Experience

Experience with IT Servicedesk solutions (preferably Manage Engine Servicedesk Plus).

Expertise in Citrix CVAD 7 virtual desktop and app deployment, and/or similar technologies such as VMware Horizon.

Proficiency in Microsoft Azure & Microsoft 365 administration and configuration.

Experience with Mobile Device Management systems (such as Intune, MobileIron) and backup software (Commvault preferred).

Skills in printer installation, configuration, and management.

Knowledgeable about monitoring systems such as PTRG.

Proven skills with Active Directory, including user administration, site services, hybrid replication, and group policy object management.

Experience with remote support assistance on non-managed devices (BYOD) and email management systems.

Database knowledge, particularly Microsoft SQL.

In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices, including vulnerability management, threat detection, and incident response.

Experience with storage systems such as SAN or NAS.

Expertise in hosting troubleshooting (DNS/MX/CNAME/A records).

Deep understanding of network architecture, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and SD-WAN.

Strong knowledge of network security principles and practices, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and secure access controls.

This is a remote position with flexible working arrangements, but you will be required to travel to the client's London offices as needed. Interviews are scheduled for the next two weeks. Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their CV promptly to avoid disappointment.
