We are looking for an experienced DBT therapist to manage and deliver a comprehensive Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Service for adults with a diagnosis of Personality Disorder (EUPD.)

This is an excellent opportunity for an accredited Band 7 DBT therapist to, manage a team, provide supervision and gain leadership skills. This is a full time post, fixed term contract.

As the clinical lead you will be part of a wider Mood and Personality Community Psychology and Psychotherapy Team working with the other psychological therapists within the PCMHT and CMHT. The role requires close collaboration with the Community Service Leads in the CMHT in managing the waiting list and provision of DBT services in Southwark .

The post holder is required to attend MDT and referrals meetings, offer advice and consultation to the CMHT and PCMHT clinicians. They will receive regular clinical supervision from the Trust DBT Lead and line management supervision from MAP P&P Lead.

To be involved in the delivery and supervision of DBT-informed stepped care interventions for

To offer specialist clinical input to wider services where appropriate.

To contribute to enabling other staff, service users and carers from diverse backgrounds to flourish by working to create a psychologically safe and trauma-informed environment.

To ensure that systems are in place and working effectively for the clinical and professional

 To undertake service evaluation, audit, research, QI and policy development.

 To work as an autonomous professional within relevant professional guidelines and codes of conduct and guided by principles and policies or procedures of the service, taking responsibility for interpreting policies within defined parameters.

 To agree outcomes/results with clinical/professional lead and to decide how they are best achieved.
