Role Overview: The HR Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing HR functions across the European region. As a generalist HR role, the ideal candidate will be fluent in Dutch and possess a comprehensive understanding of European HR practices. This position requires a proactive and strategic individual capable of driving HR initiatives that align with the company’s goals and growth trajectory. The HR Manager will be instrumental in shaping the workforce, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process to ensure the company attracts and retains top talent.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
Requirements:
- Proven working experience as an HR Manager or other HR Executive.
- Fluent in Dutch and proficient in English.
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
- Experience with HR metrics and HR systems.
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
