Senior Network Service Support Engineer

The Opportunity:

ECI has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Network Service Support Engineer. We are seeking a highly skilled Level 3 Network Security Engineer with extensive experience in managing and securing network infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have expertise in working with Palo Alto firewall devices, Prisma Access, SaaS platforms, Cisco Meraki devices, and L7 policies.

Additionally, the candidate should have a strong background in Azure, virtual firewalls, routing, and switching. Excellent communication skills and relevant certifications will be advantageous.

This is a Hybrid role, 5:30 PM IST – 2:30 AM IST (8 AM EST – 5 PM EST). Must be within a commutable distance to one of our offices (Bangalore, Hyderabad & Indore) in India.

What you will do:

• Manage, configure, and troubleshoot Palo Alto firewall devices and related security technologies.
• Deploy and maintain Prisma Access solutions to ensure secure remote access.
• Oversee and optimize SaaS platform integrations to enhance security and performance.
• Administer Cisco Meraki devices, ensuring reliable network connectivity and security.
• Develop and implement Layer 7 (L7) access policies to control application-level traffic.
• Utilize Azure skills to manage cloud-based network services and virtual firewalls.
• Design, configure, and troubleshoot routing and switching solutions to ensure robust network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address network security challenges and implement best practices.
• Provide Level 3 support for complex network issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in network security technologies.
  
  

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience working with multinational organizations in network security roles.
• Proven experience with Palo Alto firewall devices and Prisma Access.
• Hands-on experience with SaaS platforms and Cisco Meraki devices.
• Strong understanding and implementation of Layer 7 (L7) access policies.
• Proficiency in Azure cloud services and virtual firewall management.
• Extensive experience in routing and switching technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer PCNSE) are a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of network security protocols and best practices.
• Ability to analyze and mitigate security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Experience with automation tools and scripting languages.
