Responsibilities
In this role, Project Manager enable our project teams to successfully deliver client engagements within budget and on schedule while ensuring goals and objectives are met. This person partners with clients and internal teams to unearth additional opportunities for Genpact solutions and services within the client. Typical responsibilities include:
- Use project governance to manage the organizational process, project timetable and deliverables, calling out when necessary
- Employ risk management to determine root cause analysis and issue management
- Effectively interact and communicate with various-levelled client personnel, including Client PM, Client Executive Sponsor, Client End Users
- Cultivate a dedicated client relationship to ensure successful project delivery, as well as identify future project opportunities
- Lead all aspects of project management and controls with regards to schedule and cost control, project scope and change management
- Use complex and creative project scheduling analytics, e.g., critical path, schedule compression/time-cost trade-off, change impacts
- Experienced with managing both internal and external project resources (including outsource, offshore and partner resources)
- Understanding the partner/client relationship. Demonstrated ability of understanding your role when delivering on behalf of a partner
- Propose solutions to manage client expectations and lead all aspects of delivery solution
- Leverage best practices, communication skills and creativity to ensure flawless delivery
Qualifications we seek in you.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, or other relevant degree
- Demonstrated success in client relationship management, by quickly gaining client trust, understanding, and illustrating the client challenges, and deliver on client expectations
- Demonstrated experience in project management with PMP certification, ideal candidates with experience in management consulting
- Experience leading workstreams and teams of consultants in the delivery of client engagements against a project plan; full life cycle project management experience, including financial oversight and tracking
- Functional knowledge in supply chain, demand or supply planning, S&OP or after sales service operations a strong plus
- Experience in software implementation (ERP, Advanced Planning Solutions, etc.) a plus
- Outstanding drive, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and to immediately contribute to a team environment
- An ability to prioritize and perform well in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high level of client focus
- Solid work ethic and high attention to detail, with a desire to learn Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with automated proposal generation tools
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM (SFDC) system is a plus
- Ability/flexibility to work outside core hours to meet critical deadlines while maintaining work/life balance is a strong plus
