Description: Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is accepting applications for VAPA Guest Teacher

• Provide engaging instruction to students focused on VAPA, media arts, music, theater, visual arts, using district provided grade level lesson plans.
• Facilitate hands-on learning experiences that promote critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills among students.
• Attend 2 days of VAPA Guest Teacher Training and participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with emerging trends and best practices
• Working with grade level spans, inclusive of special education (school site dependent): TK-6th, TK -8th or 6th-8th
  
  

Details For This Position

• APPLICATION DEADLINE: Until Filled
• LENGTH OF WORK YEAR: 72 Instructional Days, begins 24-25 school year, 2 days of PD and up 70 days of VAPA instruction
• WORK SITE: VAPA Guest Teachers will be assigned a school to return to (TK-6th = FSA, LAP, LOE, MEE, WHF; TK-8th = MFP, SOS; 6th-8th = PJHS, SMA
• WORK SCHEDULE: Calendar to be provided for the school year with dates in Sept, October, November, January, February, March, April
• REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING: Valid California teaching credential/permit, letter of introduction, resume, two letters of recommendation (preferably within the last year and at least one from a direct supervisor)
• REQUIRED CREDENTIAL: Current/valid California 30-day Emergency Teaching Credential or another valid credential
• PAY: Long Term Certificated Substitute Daily Rate
• TRAINING DAYS: August 22nd and 23rd.
• EXPECTATIONS: Facilitate engaging and hands-on Tk-8 VAPA learning experiences that foster critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration among students. Adapt teaching strategies and materials to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of students, ensuring equitable access to VAPA education for all learners. Integrate digital tools, resources, and emerging technologies to enhance instruction as provided for the designated daily lesson plan for each grade level.
