Responsibilities

  • Reports to the Manager of Gameday Entertainment
  • Proven ability to ideate and develop creative concepts from the storyboarding phase to the edit bay and integrate them into modern control room equipment
  • Produce and edit segments, features, trailers, teasers, and hype videos
  • Load content into control room players; Xpression, Kiva, Daktronics, etc...
  • Write scripts, develop narratives, and create supporting assets to promote gameday thematics
  • Collaborate directly with Content Team; Creative Design Social Photo
  • Shoot and edit interviews
  • Shoot Bengals-related events
  • Fill a gameday role in the control room; produce, direct, technical direct, etc...
  • Travel to off-site shoots to capture footage and interviews
  • Support Bengals tentpole events including but not limited to; the NFL Draft, Schedule Release, NFL Combine, media day, and Pro Bowl
  • Use media asset management software (Iconik) to ingest and log gameday and training camp footage, such as wires, NFL Films, radio calls, club media highlights, and network melts
  • Set up the Bengals studio with proper lighting and equipment for shoots
  • Collaborate with partnerships to execute sponsor activations
  • Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

  • Will periodically be required to lift and carry production equipment totaling 50-75 lbs.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of professional video production experience with a sports organization including but not limited to camera operation, editing, writing, set lighting, and design
  • Open to feedback and has strong collaboration skills
  • Must be proficient with Adobe Creative Suite; Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, etc...
  • Must be proficient with control room equipment; Ross Switchers, Daktronics Show Control, Evertz Dreamcatcher, etc...
  • Proven ability to execute projects from start to finish
  • Demonstrate strong creative skills that can be applied to TV and digital production
  • Experience with cine-style cameras, Iconik or similar MAM, and studio equipment/lighting
  • Must be a team player, willing and able to learn new concepts and processes, and willing to travel for shoots when necessary
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required, as well as all Bengals games, home and away

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with a professional or power-five college sports organization
  • Must provide Reel / Work Samples and References.
