Kforce is working with a client in search of a SQL ETL & Reporting Developer to join their team! This position is full time, direct hire and remote, but looking for someone local who can come on-site as needed in Union, NJ. We are looking for a SQL ETL & Reporting Developer with a deep data transformation mindset - someone who can solve sophisticated problems and deliver innovative solutions with keen attention to detail. Responsibilities:
Act as an integral member of the Data Team by developing processes to collect, integrate, transform, and clean data from disparate databases using SQL
Keep detailed documentation of data cleansing and conversion steps to ensure repeatability, traceability, and accountability
Develop reports in SSRS to assist in data-driven decision making across many departments and business lines
Work with account representatives to understand client data conversion requirements and provide feedback for change documents
Conducts post-import analysis for quality assurance (QA)
Coordinates and prioritizes tasks with senior team members and manager
Develop a deep understanding of central station operations and signal processing to ensure maximal client satisfaction
Support the implementation and maintenance of self-service data visualization tools (Power BI)
Keep knowledge up to date on advances in SQL, related services, and tools
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, Finance or equivalent preferred
5 years of experience in SQL and working with relational databases (SQL Server and/or MySQL)
3 years of experience transforming and cleansing data using SQL
Able to design, architect, and build performant, reliable, high-quality systems
Proven track record of implementing ETL or systems integration solutions
Fast learner with excellent problem-solving skills
Works well on a team
Nice To Have
Experience using SQL Server Reporting Services or similar tools for report generation
Experience supporting Power BI or similar tools for data visualization and exploration
Intermediate to advanced experience in Microsoft Excel
Experience working with call center or central station data
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
