Software Development Manager
Job Description
- Manages a delivery group. Leads the delivery development teams towards projects implementation according to content, schedule, budget and quality agreed on with the customer. Implements development methodologies and enforces compliance in high quality.
- Managing development teams of multiple projects and customers’ demands simultaneously
- Ability to meet aggressive timelines and motivate the team to meet the project deadlines
- Ability for managing the development activities:
- Professional responsibility to obtain the desired result as defined with the customer
- Responsible for scheduling, resource planning, budget & time tracking
- Reporting implementation progress, meeting budgetary targets, quality products and more.
- Relevant degree
- 10 years of IT experience.
- Proven managerial abilities - minimum of 5 years professional experience managing or leading software development teams, of which at least 3 years specific experience in managing development group
- Deep knowledge in Java/J2EE and OO technology.
- Experience with management of development life cycle and development methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with overseas customers in onshore/offshore model.
- Experience in customer facing position- Advantage.
- Experienced with working in a Matrix management environment.
- PMP Certification – Advantage.
- Fluent English, excellent communication skills.
- Experience/Certification in Scrum framework is a plus.
