Opportunity: The above client is looking for a Senior Design Engineer who will be responsible for for the design of hardware and perform validation and verification testing
Requirements: You have 6 years experience as a Design Engineer who has lead integration of hardware designs of critical components and system design.

Core responsibilities
Coordinate manufacturing with suppliers to create BOMs, drawing packages, and assembly packages
Design hardware to perform validation and verification testing and work closely with various engineering teams
Manage the integration of system level design and make make modifications as necessary to hardware for assembly, installation, and testing
Lead the project management of the integration and testing design team to meet deadline requirements
Required
M.S. in Mechanical Engineering
Fabrication of heavily loaded and high-precision components, as well as mechanical design experience
Fabrication of weldments, pneumatic systems and hydraulic systems
CAD proficiency
Hands of experience with machine shop tools: mill, welder, lathe
Project execution from concept to development to production
Ideal candidate
Ph.D in related engineering discipline
Experience using Generative Shape Design, Part Design, and Assembly Design
Knowledge of PLC programming and controller development
Aerospace test equipment experience
Hardware in the loop testing (HIL) experience
Experience with high voltage systems
Familiarity with FAA certification
Rapid prototyping experience
Experience with sensor selection and automated hardware
