FMC has an immediate opening for an enthusiastic, creative, and talented Quality Assurance Auditor to join our Global Analytical Sciences team. As an Analytical Sciences Quality Assurance Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our laboratory operations within a GLP framework. Your responsibilities will involve assessing processes, data, and documentation to maintain high standards of scientific integrity and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities include:

  • Auditing and Inspection:
  • Conduct routine audits of laboratory processes, study data, and documentation to verify adherence to GLP guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in external inspections by regulatory agencies or sponsors.
  • Quality Assurance and Improvement:
  • Monitor and evaluate R&D laboratory operations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement quality procedures to optimize laboratory quality and consistency.
  • Investigate incidents related to R&D laboratory processes and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • SOP Development and Review:
  • Assist in the development, review, and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) relevant to GLP activities.
  • Ensure that SOPs align with regulatory guidelines and best practices.
  • Training and Education:
  • Provide guidance and support in all aspects of GLP, including good documentation practices and root cause analysis during investigations.
  • Support training programs for laboratory personnel on GLP principles and compliance.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
  • Identify potential risks related to GLP compliance and propose risk mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement preventive measures.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay current with regulatory trends and requirements related to GLP.
  • Propose process improvements and contribute to the enhancement of quality systems.

The successful candidate will be able to work independently, but also collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team of scientists and regulatory professionals.

Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or related field).

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably within a GLP laboratory setting.
  • Strong understanding of GLP regulations and guidelines.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
