Parks and Events Attendant - Part time

Center City District , located in Center City Philadelphia, is looking for outgoing, customer service and detail oriented individuals to join our Parks and Events Division as Part Time Park and Events Attendants, to be a part of the exciting outdoor environment Philadelphia Center City District has to offer.

Who We Are

Center City District (CCD) is a business improvement district dedicated to keeping the downtown Philadelphia Center City Area, clean, safe and attractive. The CCD works with other organizations to make the area an attractive place to live, work and visit.

What You Will Do

As the Park Attendant, you will oversee activities at our Parks in Center City and ensure the park rules and regulations are followed in play and surrounding areas within the park. The Parks and Events Attendant oversees play at the pond, garden and fountains, and request adherence to those rules and performs light maintenance of areas.

The Park Attendant will also provide customer service to the visitors of CCD managed parks by being present at Events, and assisting with the setup and breakdown of equipment.

The Park Attendant’s goal is to create a safe environment in our Parks.

Requirements

Requirements:

• High School graduate or equivalent;
• Able to work nights, weekends and holidays;
• Outstanding customer service and excellent interpersonal skills;
• Able to work outdoors for extended period of time in all types of weather;
• Reliable and dependable to be on time and present for work as scheduled:
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance;
• Able to pass post offer physical, drug test, reference and background checks;
