THE HIGH LEVEL
We are looking for a Network Engineer to join our team and provide subject matter expertise, leadership, and insight on advanced networking and data center networking to our Government client. Emphasis on deploying and managing advanced infrastructure solutions partner technologies and service delivery.
What You’ll Be Doing
Drive and build networking solutions and capabilities with our customers
Work closely with customers to consultatively build technology requirements around mission and business objectives
Actively research, evaluate and drive service provider and data center technologies and solutions to solve customer needs
Manage solution deployment adhering to modern industry best practices while meeting and exceeding customer expectations
Develop and maintain relationships with strategic partner community and customer base
What You Bring To The Table
10 years of Service Provider, Cloud and/or Data Center Networking related consulting and delivery experience
10 years of hands-on experience with network design and implementation
8 years of experience architecting, designing, and delivering MPLS and Segment-Routing networks
Experience with large-scale SD-WAN deployments leveraging Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN
DoD Experience incorporating WAN routing (Air Force experience a value add)
MPLS and BGP routing background essential (Segment Routing preferred)
Cisco Crosswork (CNC) experience a bonus
Ability to implement and manage advanced networking solutions at multiple levels of the enterprise and data center across multiple network OEM product lines (Cisco, Juniper, etc.)
Deep understanding of data center and networking technologies and solutions such as BGP, VXLAN, EVPN, Cisco ACI, Cisco NDFC, Data-Center Interconnectivity,
Comprehensive understanding of service provider technologies and solutions such as MPLS, MP-BGP, Segment Routing over MPLS (SR-MPLS), Segment Routing over IPv6 (SRv6), IS-IS, IPv6
Experience with networking and cloud automation solutions such as Ansible, Terraform, Python a bonus
Excellent oral presentation skills and ability to present in front of small to large audiences
Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize various project deliverables, committed in meeting target deadlines
Strong attention to detail
Certifications are highly desired: CCNP
Vendor and product certifications are desired: Cisco
Security CE or equivalent IAT II certification required
Secret security clearance
Travel Requirements
Up to 25% of travel required for this position
