InBuilding Construction Manager (Denver, CO)

We are looking for an InBuilding Construction Manager for our enterprise communications and service client. The InBuilding construction manager must have specific experience with InBuilding solutions, be local to the area, and be available for Physical site walks and on-site construction management. The In-building Construction Manager (IBCM) is responsible for all technical aspects of the telecommunications equipment deployment and ASP management at assigned jobs/venues.

Initially, this is an 18-month contract role (likely to extend), 40 hours/week, in Denver, CO.

This is a W2 employee of Stage 4 Solutions. Health benefits and 401K are offered.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the appropriateness of the site for deployment
• Recommend or select suppliers and identify and validate scope items with RF and suppliers
• Determining and managing the distribution of the equipment and materials necessary for the deployment
• Managing site access; planning and scheduling the installation and construction of the job/site
• Conducting audits during the build and through construction completion
• Ensuring completion following company and customer standards
• Evaluating all punch list items and determining if construction is complete and acceptable
• Partners with / supports the Senior Construction Manager on complex jobs/sites, as needed.
• Partners with the Remote Construction Manager
• Ensure the proper and timely deployment of telecommunications equipment
• Performing feasibility walks at venues alongside the data collection
• Establish a POC with the venue for access and scheduling.
• Verify cable routing, GPS placement, DOT placement, and ingress/egress to headend using iBwave software.
• Analyzing/developing the SOW, BOM, and work with RF design including the minimum thru-put requirements and the end requirements of the customer
• Utilizing in-building and deployment knowledge and expertise
• Resolve access issues before construction starts
• Report any material deficiencies that may halt job construction and create a resolution plan
  
  

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience of InBuilding construction management
• Basic technology or related trade coursework completion. Specifically in-building RAN systems (DOT, PDAS, ODAS).
• Experience with providing design solutions and working with RF to optimize the solution.
• Experience in managing and directing general contractors, construction scope estimation, etc. (In-building, Backhaul, Maintenance Work).
• Knowledge of troubleshooting practices and techniques.
• Understanding of site acquisition, zoning, permitting, landlord negotiations, leasing laws, jurisdictional requirements, and environmental compliance.
• Ability to interface with customers, property owners, and other internal and external ancillary personnel as needed.
• Basic knowledge of contracts (leasing, vendor-facing, customer-facing) and budgets.
• Understanding of EHS statutory requirements impacting Ericsson in the local market.
• Completion of approved OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) 30-hour course for the telecommunications industry.
• Field experience in managing general contractors, construction scope estimation, etc.

Pay Rate: $36/hr. - $39/hr.
