Papalino Wines is a family-owned business managed directly by the Papalino Family. Since 1960, Ercole, Ermino, and now Gabriele have decided to work on their lands to give the customers the best version of their terroir through their hands. We are producing High-Quality Wine in an unknown region of the northern Lazio area and, for this reason, we are looking for someone who could help us to extend our business overseas.
Whom are we looking for?
We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable wine distributor who is interested in marketing High-Quality wines produced by a small father-and-son winery. Collaborating with us means possessing a competitive advantage over the competition since our coverage in your market is almost zero. The position focuses specifically on importing wines from Italy and then working with restaurateurs and others in the Ho.Re.Ca. segment to ensure effective distribution and a successful presence in the U.S. market.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate potential clients available to promote a unique set of Italian wines;
- Negotiate distribution agreements with selected clients;
- Coordinate customs clearance and shipping logistics;
- Manage relationships with clients;
- Monitor market trends and provide up-to-date feedback to find the best match between demand and offer.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in wine distribution.
- In-depth knowledge of US customs laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Passion for wine and Italian oenological culture.
