Degree or equivalent qualification in Electronic Engineering or related subject, with a minimum of 15 years’ experience in mixed signal electronic design (with a bias towards embedded system design).
Experience of developing high speed digital designs
Experience of communications protocols and their physical requirements (CAN Bus, SPI/QUAD SPI, I2C, MIPI, RS485)
Practical experience in board brings up and debug using appropriate tools and techniques.
Strong and versatile technical problem solver.
Experience of design for signal integrity and EMC.
Experienced in the use of simulation tools (LTSpice, Pspice, etc)
Practical experience in the use of Schematic capture and PCB layout design tools (preferably Altium)
Basic understanding of embedded software development and languages (C, C )
Understanding of digital signal processing techniques
Electronics development for hazardous areas
Multilayer PCB layout experience
