Summary: 

Treehouse has an exciting mission to combat climate change through our business lines, including the wind farms we own, debt-financing we provide for the development of renewable energy projects, and equity investments in decentralized sustainable infrastructure. We are growing and creating more organizational structure and better systems as we prepare to bring on large external investors. Treehouse’s Business Operations Analyst will be focused on helping the organization in creating effective systems and structures to support this growth as we scale and drive operational excellence through a variety of initiatives, including process improvement, project management, and other operational support.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive analyses of existing business operations, including procedures, workflows, systems, and data flows, to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for optimization.
  • Collect and analyze data to uncover insights, trends, and patterns that support data-driven decision-making and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop practical solutions.
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs), process maps, and process improvement recommendations, incorporating industry best practices and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
  • Assist in the implementation of new processes, procedures, and systems, ensuring proper communication, smooth transitions, effective training for end-users, and support for people.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions, making adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams on project management best practices, including project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Develop and implement, project management frameworks, tools, and templates to streamline project execution and ensure consistency across the organization.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends, best practices, and innovations that can enhance the quality and efficiency of business operations.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, project updates, and the status of business operations to stakeholders and management.
  • Other activities and administrative/compliance tasks as requested or assigned by management.

Experience: 

  • Four or more years in business operations, process improvement, or related roles. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is preferred.
  • Certification in project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, CAPM, Agile) is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: 

  • Demonstrated ability to function independently with minimal oversight.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex processes and identify root causes.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and speaking skills including preparation and presentation of verbal and written reports, presentations, and recommendations. Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and attention to detail skills. 
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI) and process mapping software.
