The Local Academy Council of Little Aston Primary Academy are looking to appoint an Office Manager (including Health & Safety)

Salary/Hours: Gross Salary of £24,634 for Grade 7 (SCP 15) Term Time 5 INSET Days 5 additional days during school closure period

Contract Type: Full time (37hrs)/Permanent

Required for: September 2024

Little Aston Primary Academy, part of the Staffordshire University Academy Trust. Little Aston is a one-form primary school, located in Little Aston on the edge of Sutton Coldfield.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, hardworking, caring and friendly School Office Manager to join our school. You will have excellent administration skills, be people centered, and able to lead and work within a team. This is a pivotal administration role which requires the highest level of confidentiality, communication, and organisational skills, coupled with the ability to effectively use various Payroll and HR processes and Management Information Systems. You will also need an understanding of financial administration including invoice processing.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask
  • A warm and empathetic manner
  • The ability to communicate effectively with others verbally and through written communication
  • The ability to use their initiative, be flexible and ensure children are safe and happy
  • The ability to prioritise tasks and consistently work to deadlines
  • Experience in working in an administrative position in an office environment
  • To have a sound understanding of a range of ICT systems and be confident in using ICT packages
  • To have the confidence and experience in handling confidential situations and information
  • To have a positive nature, be hard-working and possess a good sense of humour
